2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games

From 27 July through to 9 September, London will be host to the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The North West London boroughs - Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster - will all play a role whether that's being part of the torch relay route or hosting Games and local events.

Prior to and during the Games, NHS North West London plays a role in ensuring that healthcare across the area continues to be provided at GP practices, in hospitals and community clinics, and in people's home. There may be some impacts, but plans are in place to reduce those as far as possible and make sure people get the health services they need and would normally expect.
